When Yue-Hong plays with the full orchestra you can usually spot her at the front left of the stage with fellow violinists.

Yue-Hong became a permanent member of the TSO in 2002 and has an active career as a chamber musician and soloist, also appearing regularly as concertmaster.
She has performed with Australia’s major symphony orchestras and holds bachelor and masters degrees from the Australian Institute of Music.
As a student in China, Yue-Hong won many awards and scholarships at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
When she was 19 she won the role of first violin with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Shanghai in China, Yue-Hong began her violin studies when she was six.
After three years as first violin with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Yue-Hong moved to Australia, studying under Peter Zhang and Charmian Gadd.
Advice to her younger self: 'Try hard, but love what you do and follow your heart.'
