About Christine

Christine grew up in Launceston and studied violin with Jan Sedivka in Hobart.

She graduated from the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music and played with the Australian Youth Orchestra during her studies.

Since joining the TSO in 1987, Christine’s career highlights include orchestra tours to China, South America, Canada and Japan.

She particularly enjoys performing in recordings and concerts under the baton of our Chief Conductor Eivind Aadland and with British conductor Howard Shelley.
