Parking
Although paid street parking is available on surrounding streets, this is usually limited to one hour. We recommend parking in a nearby paid carpark. Visit the Hobart City Council’s helpful parking page.
Public transport
St David’s Cathedral is on the corner of Murray and Macquarie streets and a short walk from Hobart’s main bus interchange area at Franklin Square.
Travelling from Launceston?
Kinetic (Redline) runs at least two daily bus services between Launceston and Hobart. Book online, or call 1300 360 000.
Hobart hotels often have a discount for Tasmanian guests. When booking for a stay or dinner, remember to mention that you’re attending the TSO.

Wheelchair accessible
St David’s Cathedral is wheelchair accessible, with ramped entry on Murray St.
Accessible seating
A designated space for wheelchairs is available at the rear of the seating area. Our ushers are available to assist anyone with mobility issues to their seats.
Please note, seating in St David’s is on fixed timber pews. Please let our Box Office team know ahead of time if you need a space reserved at the end of a pew to accommodate accessibility needs, or talk to one of our ushers at the event.
The pews can be a little uncomfortable, so you may like to bring a cushion!
