TSO Studio
The permanent rehearsal space of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Nestled in the heart of Nipaluna / Hobart, the TSO Studio boasts state-of-the-art acoustics and is attached to the state’s premier orchestral performance venue, Federation Concert Hall.

For events in the TSO Studio please check in at the TSO Box Office 5 minutes prior and a member of staff will bring you into the studio.
Parking
Paid parking is available under the TSO Studio in the Hotel Grand Chancellor parking lot off Macquarie Street, and paid street parking can be found on surrounding streets.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to allow time for securing a park.
Please note that there is no lift access to the hotel lobby. We recommend being dropped off in the hotel driveway off Davey Street if you would like to avoid stair use.
Public Transport
Catch a bus into the city – Macquarie Street and Franklin Square are popular stops – and head towards the waterfront.

Accessible Arrival & Parking
Located on the Davey Street entrance, the Hotel Grand Chancellor valet turning circle provides an accessible drop-off option for cars to stop and unload passengers, right outside the TSO.
Accessible parking and lifts are available in the Hotel's paid parking located beneath the TSO Studio and accessed from the Macquarie Street side of the building.
