Parking
Paid parking is available under the Federation Concert Hall in the Hotel Grand Chancellor parking lot off Macquarie Street, and paid street parking can be found on surrounding streets.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to allow time for securing a park.
Please note that there is no lift access to the hotel lobby. We recommend being dropped off in the hotel driveway off Davey Street if you would like to avoid stair use.
Public Transport
Catch a bus into the city – Macquarie Street and Franklin Square are popular stops – and head towards the waterfront.

Travelling from Launceston?
Kinetic (Redline) runs at least two daily bus services between Launceston and Hobart. Book online, or call 1300 360 000.

On a cruise break?
We’re a 2-minute walk from the Macquarie Wharf Cruise Terminal along the Hobart waterfront.
Just head towards the main road along the wharf and look across the road for the Hotel Grand Chancellor building.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor and Federation Concert Hall are wheelchair accessible, with lifts and accessible entry and bathrooms available.
Accessible seating
There are 4 wheelchair seating spots available in the concert hall, if these are all sold out, please contact the Box Office and we will be able to slot you in next to Row D in the stalls.
If you need easily accessible seating, please contact the box office and we will ensure that you have seating close to one of the entry doors.

Accessible Arrival & Parking
Located on the Davey Street entrance, the Hotel Grand Chancellor valet turning circle provides an accessible drop-off option for cars to stop and unload passengers, right outside the Concert Hall.

Dine at the Tasman Restaurant
Make an evening of your night at the TSO with a pre-concert meal at the Tasman Restaurant in the Hotel Grand Chancellor. Enjoy a 2-course set menu at $65 per person, or a 3-course set menu at $80 per person.
