Not at all. Our resources are created for general classroom teachers and music teachers.

Use the menu to filter resources by school grade or by activity type – create, listen, move, perform, or research.

If you’re booked in for a TSO performance, you can also use the menu to access the activities and resources related to that concert or program.

If you know the name of a resource, you can search for it in the main search field of the TSO website.

Yes. You’ll need to be connected to the internet to download Pdf print-outs and to access our YouTube videos.

We recommend doing the activities in your classroom ahead of a performance, to familiarise students with the music they will hear.

Don’t worry - students will still enjoy themselves thoroughly if they have not done activities beforehand!

Resources can also be used after performances, to reinforce what the students learn on the day.

Yes. Our resources are designed by teachers for teachers, with Australian arts curriculum outcomes for primary and secondary students in mind.

Some of our programs also link to other school curricula, including science and literacy.

Most of our resources are supplied with text, alt-text on critical imagery and optional closed captions for videos.
