Known for their infectious tracks and feelgood live performances, Lime Cordiale was formed by brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach in 2009.
Their latest album, Enough of the Sweet Talk, reached number one in the ARIA album charts and the band has won two ARIA awards, including in 2021 for Best Live Act.

The band will perform with the TSO on 27 August before shows with the Melbourne, Queensland, Sydney, and West Australian symphony orchestras throughout September, October and November.
‘This is a major bucket-list tick for us. It’s scary and intimidating, but our inner band nerds are all for it! We can’t wait to dive into some epic orchestral arrangements of our songs,’ Oli says.
With a cello-playing mum, the brothers grew up playing classical clarinet and trumpet.
‘The band came together while I was studying at the (Sydney) Conservatorium, and playing in concert bands and orchestras was a big part of Lime Cordiale’s beginnings,’ Oli says.

Australian composer Alex Turley is writing the orchestral arrangements of the band’s music and conductor Vanessa Scammell will direct the concerts.
From soaring strings to thunderous brass, the tour will feature symphonic reinventions of Lime Cordiale’s crowd favourite tracks like Robbery, Temper Temper, and Dirt Cheap.
For the TSO, this exciting project is the latest contemporary music collaboration after last year’s sold-out performances with The Cat Empire and country music legends, The Wolfe Brothers.
The orchestra has previously collaborated with Ben Folds, Missy Higgins, Violent Femmes, Birds of Tokyo, Kate Miller-Heidke, Katie Noonan, Eskimo Joe and Meg Washington.
