Partnerships with impact.

By its very definition a collective is ‘done by people acting as a group’. There is power in numbers. This is why we created our Business Collective – to bring Tasmanian enterprises together to achieve significant social impact for Tasmanians, ensuring that every Tasmanian child experiences their orchestra, the TSO, by the age of eight.

We know it’s a bold vision, but it’s an important one. Experiencing live music provides cultural equity, giving all students the same opportunity to discover and connect through music, positively impacting all areas of student learning. All the while connecting with other local businesses to create a stronger and supported network across the state.

"There is just so much to love about the TSO Business Collective. For us it is not just the opportunity to support a Tasmanian treasure in the TSO, but the knowledge that our membership enables them to deliver world class programs such as the TSO Schools Tour to kids all across the state."

Is the business collective the right fit for your business?

We love to partner with businesses who;

  • Demonstrate alignment with our core values of connection, artistry and integrity
  • Are big on storytelling, sharing across multiple and diverse channels
  • Who think differently and are looking for network development that is interesting and fun.

So how do you join the collective?

Through an investment of $5,000 plus GST per annum. These funds mean your business will be directly supporting up to 500 Tasmanian students to attend a concert as well as the rollout of teaching workshops so teachers can keep music alive in the classroom. We want our collaboration to work for you, so we encourage you to talk to us about our flexible payment options.

Let’s start a conversation about how we can work together! Get in touch with Cath Adams, our Development Manager, to meet for a coffee and learn more.

hEAR WHAT Our members have to say

"Supporting the TSO through the Business Collective is a good fit for my practice as many of my clients support the TSO gifts in their Wills. What I did not anticipate was that despite growing up thinking I did not enjoy classical music… I am now a huge fan.  I found myself literally on the edge of my seat."

– Bridget Rheinberger, Director Tremayne Fay Rheinberger Lawyers

"Our partnership with the TSO spans several years, reflecting our shared dedication to community engagement and empowerment. The TSO’s meaningful contributions to society, aligning seamlessly with our core values, have inspired us to deepen our collaboration.

Looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, we are excited to further strengthen our alliance with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, leveraging our resources, expertise, and networks to drive even greater positive change in the communities."

– Joe Demase, CEO 5GN

"Through our Business Collective membership, Impact Solutions International participated in a TSO Percussion Circle as our 2023 end-of-year celebration team-building event.

It was different, and it was engaging. The energy in the room was palpable.

From a CEO's perspective, I appreciated that we left having created some great new rhythms together and were in sync in a way that united us all. It was a joyous and creative way to deepen our cohesion as a team.

I would highly recommend this process for any teams trying to work together in harmony, and it was delivered in a non-threatening, professional environment."

– Mary Dwyer, CEO Impact Solutions International
