What can conducting an orchestra teach us about broader workplace leadership?

Quite a lot, it turns out!

Our corporate partners joined us last week for our inaugural Corporate Partner Workshop, facilitated by partnership specialist Richard Woodward.

Alongside discussions about building effective partnerships, participants stepped onto the podium to learn the basics of conducting.

It was a fun exercise, but also a powerful reminder that leadership isn't just about giving instructions. It's about communication, trust, listening, confidence and bringing people together around a shared goal.

At the TSO, we believe partnerships can deliver much more than brand exposure or hospitality opportunities. They can create memorable experiences that inspire teams, strengthen relationships and encourage new ways of thinking.
