Leah Curtis composes contemporary classical music, scores for international cinema, and music for fine art installation.
Described as ‘groundbreaking’, ‘deeply human’ (Limelight) and “first-rate” (Variety), her music explores lush, immersive textural worlds, weaving and anchoring nuanced orchestrations with glimmering solo threads.
Her film scores have received multiple nominations and wins at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards across categories including Best World Music, Best Original Score (Independent Film), and Best Original Song, and have also been nominated for the Australian Screen Music Awards.
Leah is one of four talented composers selected for the 2026-27 Australian Composers School cohort.
