Small changes to improve your pre-concert experience

Thanks to customer feedback, we’re making some minor changes to the Federation Concert Hall foyer experience for concertgoers.

We hope these small but welcome improvements will help make your concert experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

What’s changing?

Next time you come to a concert you are welcome to check in your bag or coat.

And … drum roll … you can now take your drink with you to your seat. Yes, we’ve heard you on that one!

Cloak room

We now offer cloak room facilities at the TSO Box Office.

Please arrive early if you would like to check in a coat or bag.

Drinks in the hall

We’re working with the Grand Chancellor bar team to allow guests to take their purchased cold drinks into the hall to enjoy during the concert.

This has been on our wish list for a long time because we know many concertgoers appreciate being able to enjoy a leisurely drink during performances.

Please note that red wine and hot drinks are not allowed in the hall.

Please bear with us

Your patience is appreciated as we test out how best to introduce these small but welcome changes.

We’re continuing to work with the Hotel Grand Chancellor to introduce more improvements to the pre-concert experience, including in relation to lighting.

If you’d like to know more, or suggest an improvement, please send us an email at boxoffice@tso.com.au
