LEARNING & ENGAGEMENT

Recorder Lift Off

The sky is the limit with Recorder Lift Off!  Beginner recorder players are invited to join TSO musicians on an inspiring journey of musical discovery from the first note they learn!

Recorder Lift Off provides sequential sets of play-along videos created around 25 works for beginner recorder and a variety of chamber ensembles, commissioned by the TSO from composers studying at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) Conservatorium of Music.

Compositions were created in consultation with UTAS Associate Professor Dr Maria Grenfell and Tasmanian music educator Cynthia Howard, who suggested the TSO create video accompaniments for beginner recorder.
