Escape the world for an hour and enter Obscura at the Odeon.

Of Ice and Stars captures a mysterious realm with immense skies and a vast icy landscape. Strings of the TSO are joined by Genevieve Lacey, program curator and recorder player. But this isn’t the recorder as you know it – Genevieve plays 6 different recorders in this concert, from the tiniest ‘garklein’ (so small her fingers can barely cover the holes) to a recorder that’s a meter long.

It’s a serene listening experience where you’ll hear bird calls and sounds that eerily mimic a human voice.
