Richard England, Deputy Chair

Richard has over 25 years’ experience as a non-executive director and Chairman of numerous listed and unlisted companies encompassing Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Innovation, Agribusiness and Infrastructure. He is currently Chairman of Hobart International Airport Pty Ltd and a director of HBF Health Limited, Friendly Society Medical Association Limited (trading as National Pharmacies) and Gardior Pty Ltd, Trustee of the infrastructure trust. He is also Chairman of Agency Projects Limited, a not for profit organisation which assists remote indigenous communities and artists to promote and bring their work to market and a director (formerly chairman) of Indigenous Art Code Limited, the company administering the Indigenous Australian Art Commercial Code of Conduct. Prior to embarking on his career as a director he was a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice and a partner at Ernst & Young (1988 to 1994) where he was National Director Corporate Recovery and Insolvency. He was Liquidator or Receiver of many high profile administrations including Southern Equities Corporation (formally Bond Corporation Holdings Limited). He was previously a partner in Peat Marwick (1982 to 1988).
