Experience hundreds of voices raised as one when the TSO Chorus joins forces with visiting choristers from around the country in a mammoth performance of Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem). Federation Concert Hall becomes an enormous performance space, with orchestra and chorus on stage and still more choristers seated in the stalls. Guiding and shaping it all is Simon Halsey, widely recognised as the world’s most accomplished choral director. From your vantage point in the balcony, gaze down on the spectacle and be enveloped by the sounds as they rise heavenward.
