OBSCURA III – Al(chem)y

Before there was chemistry there was alchemy, the age-old search for the elixir of life or the transformation of base metals into gold. All music is an act of creation and transformation. Signs and symbols on a page are transformed as if by magic into vibrations and sound waves. It’s a process of alchemy. Al(chem)y delivers music that crosses time and space, eras and cultures. Folk songs from around the globe are interposed with contemporary orchestral classics, forming a chemical reaction from composer to page to performer to you.
