Presented by the TSO in partnership with the UTAS Conservatorium
The ACO conducts String Workshops during their national tours each year. Students become part of the ACO for a morning, learning rehearsal and performance techniques and playing alongside ACO musicians.
The TSO, in partnership with the UTAS Conservatorium, is thrilled to present this workshop in Hobart as an extension activity for advanced Tasmanian string students. The workshop is free of charge and runs for three hours.
Curriculum-linked professional development resources based on rehearsal leadership and techniques are provided for teachers to support the workshop. Teachers are invited to observe the workshop and talk with our musicians afterwards. String workshops are extension activities for advanced string students.
