Congratulations to this year’s TSO Rising Star competition winner, thirteen year-old pianist Sheng–Yuan Lynch.

Sheng-Yuan will perform as soloist with the TSO in the Family Classics concert The Nutcracker on 22 November.

Calling all budding soloists! If you can play your instrument at Grade 8 AMEB level or equivalent (or higher!) and have a yearning to perform as soloist with an orchestra, the Rising Star Competition is for you. Fill out an application form and you could be on your way to being our next Rising Star.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to audition in the TSO Studio and the lucky winner will get to perform with the TSO.
