Meg Washington
with the
Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
Conducted by Vanessa Scammell, featuring Meg Washington on vocals and piano, and guitarist Ben Edgar.
Renowned for her sensational, soulful live performances, leading Australian artist Meg Washington is taking to the stage with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for a special performance.
Meg’s highly influential, genre-defying work has been widely recognised by her peers and industry.
Nominated for 10 ARIA Awards and the winner of three – Breakthrough Artist, Best Female and in 2020, Best Cover Art for her fourth studio album, the ground-breaking and critically acclaimed Batflowers. Always full of surprises, last year Meg released a minimalist, crystalline interpretation of Hot Fuss by The Killers. Meg has just released a brand-new song, Eastcoaster with more new music to come in 2024.
Conducted by Vanessa Scammell, this electrifying performance with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra will showcase Meg Washington’s newest music, alongside the songs that made her famous, including Catherine Wheel, Lazarus Drug, Kiss Me Like You’re Going to Die and Skeleton Key.
