Brass in St John’s
Let the TSO Brass and Percussion take you to church, at Brass at St John’s.
Launceston’s beloved St John’s is a striking, 19th-century Anglican church. Built in 1824, it’s one of Tasmania’s oldest surviving churches.
Inside, its timber roof, elegant stained-glass windows, warm acoustics, and intimate scale create a space that feels both historic and inviting – perfect for the brilliance of TSO’s brass and percussion.
Join us for a debut series that’s destined to become a Launceston staple.
Arrangements commissioned for the TSO by Professor Emeritus Stephen Crump and Professor Kitty te Riele.
