Clover Hill Club Lounge highlights
If you joined us for our digital post-concert Clover Hill Club Lounge – thank you! What an entertaining (and educational) group of humans we have at the TSO, and we were proud to share them with you all in this behind-the-scenes format. Read on for some of our highlights from the past 12 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed bringing some extra joy to your Friday night.
Over the past 12 weeks following our Friday Night Live concerts, the TSO Philanthropy team transformed the board room into the Clover Hill Club Lounge. Amazing what good lighting, banners and a magnum of Clover Hill sparkling can do for such a business-like location!
Highlights were varied and plentiful, but special mentions must go to the unlikely stars of Clover Hill Club Lounge – Peter’s dog, Hamish, and Owen’s cat, Oliver, who made regular appearances and brightened everyone’s evening. We’d also love to thank the team at Vaucluse Gardens for joining in every Friday, as well as those who joined from all over the country – and even from overseas at times! It was wonderful to celebrate Gunther Freitag’s 90th birthday with him, and to have impromptu guest appearances from the floor (as it were) by actor Marta Dusseldorp, and composers Matthew Hindson and Joe Chindamo.
A big thank you to all our guests and hosts, and of course to our corporate partner, Clover Hill, for providing said guests and hosts with a well-deserved tipple following the concerts. And an especial thank you to all the guests who jumped onto zoom following Friday Night Live and connected with us over the 12 weeks. It was an absolute pleasure and we look forward to seeing you all next year!
