City of Clarence Eisteddfod

City of Clarence Eisteddfod needs your help!

For many musicians, eisteddfods are vital to their development as young performers. The eisteddfod stage is where they will have their first successes, their first disappointments, and equips them with invaluable skills which they carry throughout their lives.

The City of Clarence Eisteddfod has been an institution in Southern Tasmania for over 50 years, providing benefits to the cultural life of Clarence and Tasmania. Closer to home, many TSO musicians (and staff!) have taken part in this competition, onstage and off, and recognise the part this eisteddfod plays in celebrating local talent.

Right now, the Committee who plans this annual competition need new members to join and help the eisteddfod continue into the future, as current members are retiring after years of dedicated service.

The AGM will be held on 17 March for anyone interested in becoming a committee member.

Please consider registering your interest in becoming a committee member through contacting as soon as possible.
