From choosing seats to collecting tickets and the Feel More Guarantee, here’s everything you need to know.
Book directly via the TSO website on our Concerts page or the ticketing provider specified on the concert details page.
You can call or email our friendly Box Office staff. Email boxoffice@tso.com.au or phone 1800 001 190 (10am – 4pm Monday to Friday).
Or you can visit us in person. The TSO Box Office is open 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday in the Federation Concert Hall, 1 Davey Street, Nipaluna / Hobart.
When you book online, by phone or in person you can choose to have your tickets emailed to you, sent you to via Australia Post, or be available for collection from the Box Office on the night of the performance.
If you are collecting on the night of a performance, we suggest that you get there early to avoid the rush. For all performances in the Federation Concert Hall, the TSO Box Office is open 2 hours prior.
For other venues, the Box Office opens up to an hour prior to the performance.
If the concert is being ticketed by an external ticketing provider (Dark Mofo, Ticketmaster, etc), you will receive your ticket by the means they specify during the checkout process.
If you choose to have your ticket emailed to you, you do not have to print it. Your email ticket will have a QR code that our ushers can scan on the night. We suggest ‘flagging’ the email in your inbox so you can easily find it on the night.
Simply call, visit or email the Box Office and we’ll either re-send your tickets or arrange for them to be collected on the night.
The TSO Box Office is open 10am – 4pm Monday to Friday and you can email boxoffice@tso.com.au or call us on 1800 001 190.

Yes! Most of our concerts have allocated seating and you can either choose your own seat, or click on the Purchase Best Available Seating button. This will automatically select the most popular seating options within your chosen price range.
In the Federation Concert Hall, seats are priced according to popularity, and proximity and sight lines to the stage.
Everyone is different when it comes to where they like to sit. Some concert goers love to be up close to the soloist and conductor, while others prefer to be further back where they can more easily see the entire orchestra.
If you are unsure of where to sit, call our friendly Box Office team and they can find the best option to suit you.
