Overland Ensemble
The Overland Ensemble was formed in 2021. Comprising the ‘low brass’ of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the musicians are David Robins (trombone), Iain Faragher (trombone), Mitchell Nissen (bass trombone) and Tim Jones (tuba).
As the name suggests, the Overland Ensemble is committed to heading out to the Tasmanian regions and connecting with audiences of all stripes – brass lovers, brass players and anyone keen to experience live music performed with passion, panache and wit.
