Making the TSO Foundation a beneficiary of your Will is a wonderful way to affirm your beliefs and values.
You don’t have to be wealthy to support your orchestra, and a notified bequest (you provide legal evidence of your bequest intention) presents an opportunity for the TSO Foundation to recognize you during your lifetime without affecting your current and future financial status.
Estate planning is for everyone
A Will enables you to direct how your estate is divided amongst those who are dear to you. You ensure that your loved ones and organisations like the TSO that have made an impact on your life are provided for.
Remembering the TSO Foundation in your Will is a gift which will endure beyond your lifetime. If you already have a Will, you can add a codicil (an amendment to an existing Will) to include the TSO Foundation.
We encourage you to consider making an unrestricted gift for the general purposes of the TSO rather than a gift towards a specific project. However, if you do wish to indicate a specific use for your legacy, we advise you or your legal advisor to contact us as early as possible to discuss your intentions.
Contact your financial or legal advisor to discuss your intentions before leaving a gift in your Will.

Acknowledging your generosity
Alerting us to a gift you have made in your will allows us to thank you appropriately by welcoming you to our Sculthorpe Society.
Being part of this distinct community gives you access to exclusive events and updates bringing you closer to your Orchestra, and will ensure your generous and forward-thinking support of the TSO is acknowledged on the TSO website, in printed publications, and on the TSO Foundation Honour Board.
The acknowledgement of your gift and your participation in the Sculthorpe Society will inspire like-minded orchestra lovers to consider a gift to the TSO Foundation, but if anonymity is your preference, this will be respected.
