Hear this Grammy Award-winning sextet perform On a Wire, a rapturous group concerto specially written for it by American composer Jennifer Higdon. Eighth blackbird’s dynamic new concerto shares the program with Respighi’s refined and elegant The Birds and Beethoven’s picturesque tribute to Mother Nature, the much-loved Pastoral Symphony.
