The TSO Goes To The Opera

Marko Letonja is no stranger to the world of opera having won acclaim in the great opera houses of Europe including Milan’s illustrious La Scala. Together with soprano Maya Boog and baritone José Carbó, Marko leads this starry line-up of the very best that opera has to offer including Bellini’s ‘Casta diva’ (Norma), Rossini’s ‘Largo al factotum’ (The Barber of Seville) and Verdi’s ‘Sempre libera’ (La traviata). Enjoy the heart-wrenching melodies, the emotion-filled climaxes and the larger-than-life passions of opera at its best. What’s more, the TSO Chorus will be on hand to sing up a storm with some great opera choruses.

Program includes ‘Casta diva’, the William Tell overture and excerpts from Rigoletto , La traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor and Nabucco.
