Composition Competition
Calling all student composers! Enter the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra’s Composition Competition for your chance to hear your music performed by the TSO live in concert. To be eligible you must be a Tasmanian school student in Grades 10-12. The theme for the 2012 competition is ‘Antarctica’. The TSO is seeking original student compositions on this theme, 2½ minutes in duration scored for string orchestra (Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) with no division of parts.
