Orchestral Auditions for 2010
- Principal 1st Violin (audition dates: Tuesday and Wednesday 23 and 24 March 2010)
- Principal Clarinet (audition dates: Tuesday and Wednesday 24 and 25 August 2010)
PRINCIPAL FIRST VIOLIN
ONGOING POSITION
Salary starting from $66 834 (inclusive of superannuation and base allowances).
Audition dates: Tuesday 23 March and Wednesday 24 March 2010 in Hobart.
Applications close: Tuesday 9 March 2010.
Audition Requirements:
1st and 2nd movements of Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3, 4 OR 5
PLUS 1st movement of a Romantic work of your own choice
PLUS orchestral excerpts, available from Tuesday 23 February 2010.
Set repertoire must be performed with piano accompaniment.
Applicants must plan to be available for both whole days.
Applications are open to international applicants.

Audition Requirements:
1st movement of Mozart Clarinet Concerto
PLUS a movement of a work of your own choice
PLUS orchestral excerpts, available from Tuesday 27 July 2010.
Set repertoire must be performed with piano accompaniment.
Applicants must plan to be available for both whole days.
This position is only open to applicants who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens.
